About Thulium Iron Garnet
Thulium iron garnet is a rare-earth iron garnet material with interesting magnetic and optical properties. It exhibits strong Faraday rotation, which is the rotation of the plane of polarization of light in the presence of a magnetic field. This property makes Tm3Fe5O12 suitable for use in optical isolators, circulators, and other magneto-optical devices for applications in optical communication systems and signal processing.
